Peter Parker finally managed to piece together the once broken parts of his life, maintaining a balance between his relationship Mary-Jane and his responsibility for Spider-Man. But more problems arise with our young hero. Peters old friend Harry Obsourne is set for revenge against Peter holding the mantle of his late father by a person as the New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Bens real killer, Flint Marko, who converted his hardest Sandman enemy yet. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peters suit turns pitch black and very amplifies his powers. But it also begins to greatly amplify much darker qualities Peters personality that he begins to lose himself. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be, if he is ever to conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also ... themselves.
